What began as a duo consisting of vocalist/lyricist Adam “Radam” Rebillard and guitarist Avery Avello in the fall of 2019. Grew to become a high-energy quintet writing songs that will transfer you back to the early 2000s, while also ushering in a new era of pop punk.
After releasing their debut single Spooky in October 2019, and their debut EP Fear and Loathing in the Northeast that November, the duo recruited rhythm guitarist Eddie Petershagen. The band released numerous singles (Groundhog Day, Cary Grant, Rear Window, and Vicious Game) and a Split EP with Connecticut-based emo band Sunday Morning to great success.
Adding Drummer Marcelo Erazo in the fall of 2021, the now full lineup has teamed up with producer Tony Pietrafesa to craft their second EP Golden Age which was released on August 16th, 2023. Following the release of lead single and video Seven Twenty on July 20th, and second single Casablanca on August 3rd. With a full lineup and full catalog of music to their name, What Makes Sense is set and ready to keep bringing their brand of high-energy live shows to the masses.
